I’ve never been to a funeral and I don’t know what I should do at one. I’m not particularly religious and I find things related to death upsetting.
I don’t even think telling the family that I’m sorry for their loss is appropriate, I’m upset for their loss but being sorry for it is unnecessary.
I don’t even know how people hold it together when they cremate their loved one.
Damn.
